Sunday, June 03, 2012 Mark's Work Wearhouse is looking for individuals who have a passion for enhancing the customer's shopping experience. As a member of our team, the Sales Associate will contribute to the financial results of the store and ensure customers' needs are satisfied.
The primary role of the Sales Associate is to generate sales, selling 'Clothes That Work'.
Customer Fulfillment and Building Customers for Life:
- Strive to develop customer relationships causing customer engagement to increase.
- Able to process all cash related transactions, process corporate account sale transactions, assist in transfers.
- check / look up information in the style file, view inventory of other stores for the purpose of maximizing sales opportunities.
Sales:
- Develop strong selling skills, suggest products to improve units per transaction sold.
- Continuously learn new product knowledge information with the support of the management team, and will share this knowledge with others.
- Able to service the business account customer within the store and generate leads for new business opportunities, as well as process all related transactions.
Merchandising:
- Provide support to the Category Sales Managers, merchandising in accordance with brand standards including: folding, sizing, pricing and restocking as required.
Operations
- Where required, opening and/or closing the store, coaching employees to maximize sales opportunities, and overseeing basic store operations
- Responsible for the protection of all store assets
Job Requirements:
- Flexible availability to meet the needs of the business, all candidates must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays; availability throughout the day is an asset.
- Experience with footwear is a significant asset.
Skills Required:
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
