Store Manager & Sales Associates/Stylists

Store Manager

The honey Store Manager must understand the business of fashion and set an example to all by providing exceptional sales and customer service. The manager seeks ways to build relationships with customers and develops associates to build clientele and increase sales. At honey the manager is responsible for retail sales in all aspects including customer service, orderly and appealing merchandise presentation, staff training, motivating and communication, housekeeping, upholding company policies and procedures, managing supplies and cash. The Manager should lead and inspire the team.

Job Description:

  • Must ensure that store achieves sales goals
  • Exhibit sales leadership 
  • Plan and direct daily store operations - inventory procedures, cash controls etc to minimize store losses
  • Manage staff and assign duties and ensure adequate staff levels at all times
  • Train and motivate all employees in sales, customer service and product knowledge
  • Ensure that honey image is maintained in merchandising and visuals as well as housekeeping standards
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures 
  • Provide excellent customer service in order to build clientele and to help in loss prevention
  • Monitor clientele books and coach staff to improve clientele skills
  • Resolve problems that arise such as customer complaints 
  • Cultivate an environment that excites and welcomes the customer and encourages sales

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Effective communication, organization and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated Sales excellence
  • 3-5 years experience in retail fashion management preferably in a clientele environment
  • Fashion/brand aware
  • High energy, enthusiastic - thrive in a fast paced atmosphere
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to solve problems and make good business decisions
  • Ability to build positive business relationships
  • Physical mobility to work for extended periods , standing, walking, handling merchandise and supplies
  • Able to maintain strong relationships with store and head office personnel, assisting customers and working as a team
  • Sense of urgency
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to work varied days/hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as
    Required; Managers are expected to work 44 hours per week - 2 evenings and 1 day on the weekend

Sales Associates/Stylist
The honey Sales Associate/Stylist is passionate and proud of honey and our product. She is brand aware and interested in the business of fashion. The Sales Associate will assist store management by providing excellence in sales and service leadership. The Sales Associate seeks ways to build relationships with clientele and achieve and exceed sales targets. She is energetic, hardworking and embodies the honey spirit.

Job Description:

  • Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a friendly environment including greeting and acknowledging every customer, and maintaining solid product knowledge
  • Focus on meeting individual sales targets and store sales goals
  • Adheres to company policies and follows up on accurate execution of store operations, opening and closing procedures
  • Proactively develop the sale by selecting an appropriate range of options for the customer, overcome objections and offer additional items
  • Develop clientele and follow-up with them to increase sales
  • Assist in maintaining high standards of visual presentation and housekeeping within the store
  • Assist in replenishing and preparing merchandise to be floor ready when required
  • Report suspicious activity, cash or stock losses to store management
  • Actively participate in staff training sessions
  • Any other tasks as assigned by store management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated sales ability
  • Responsible, reliable with a professional approach to colleagues and customers
  • Ability to clearly communicate with colleagues and customers
  • 1-2 years retail sales experience
  • Fashion/brand aware
  • High energy - thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Customer service oriented
  • Physical mobility to work for extended periods - standing ,walking handling merchandise and supplies
  • Ability to work varied days/ hours, including evenings weekends and holidays as needed
